- YSL's Glossy Stain in #14
- Benefit's High Brow
School starts in a few days and I"m incredibly depressed (lol) so I decided to visit Sephora and splurge on some items I've been eyeing lately.
I've been hearing a lot about the YSL glossy lip stains so I decided to try it myself. I bought #14 which is a hot pink colour that can deepen into a dark plum if layered. The gloss feels kind of sticky on the lips just like any other gloss. On top of that it does transfer but once the shine is completely gone in a few hours, the colour is stained on your lips. I prefer this lip stain out of all the other lip stains out there because it's glossy and stays glossy for a long period of time. If you keep eating or drinking, it's obviously going to come off but the longevity is pretty amaze balls.
The applicator tapers into a triangle shape which makes application soooo much easier. It's much easier to control especially around the corners of your lips and around your cupids bow (whatever that top part of your lip is called).
I was at the mall with my boyfriend/honey bunches of oats/putabear/rawr and I completely forgot to visit Sephora to check out other colours! I'm planning on buying a lighter pink/nude colour for everyday.
I also decided to purchase Benefit's High Brow since I really like the colour and the formula. The pencil is really smooth and easy to blend. I tried using a white eyeliner from a drugstore brand but it was very hard to blend because of the waxy formula. I really like the colour as well because it can act as a highlighter for your whole face!
I was all dolled up a few days ago using these two products and I forgot to take a selfie (hard to believe, I know). I'll have a FOTD using these soon!
